Largest cheese production facility in the post-Soviet space to be launched in Bereza
Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has paid a working visit to Savushkin Produkt JSC today, and the company’s Director General, Aleksandr Savchits, informed him that the new facility will produce up to 140 tonnes of cheese daily, adding that a large logistical cluster will also be built in Bereza
Savushkin Produkt JSC unites seven high-tech production sites in Brest, Pinsk, Stolin, Bereza, Ivanovo, Baranovichi and Orsha. It also runs four agricultural enterprises in the Brest Region.
Mr. Savchits noted that the company exports its products to 28 countries, including Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Japan, Philippines, the UAE, Jordan, Singapore, the United States, and Bulgaria. The share of exports in total production has reached 65 percent this year.
“Our company mostly exports ready-to-use products in consumer packaging, and this significantly improves the efficiency of export deliveries,” the said, adding that entering the Russian retail was not an easy process.
In Brest, Roman Golovchenko visited the Sci-Tech Park and got acquainted with the work of about a dozen of its residents who offer innovative products. The Prime Minister also visited the local meat processing plant.
