Kochanova: we’re proud and appreciate Belarus-China friendship
Parliamentarians will do everything to ensure that the agreements reached between Aleksandr Lukashenko and Xi Jinping are implemented effectively – as noted by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova during today’s meeting with Xie Xiaoyong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus
“We are proud and appreciate the friendship that is developing between Belarus and China,” Ms. Kochanova stressed. “In many ways, this is the merit of the leaders of our countries. Thanks to their persistent approach in strengthening our ties, the relations between the two states have reached such a high level: all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership. We’re very pleased to note the highest level of political dialogue.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko said that the Belarusian-Chinese economic relations should see the same level.
The Speaker of the Council of the Republic also thanked the Chinese Ambassador for the support of our country in joining the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO).
“Most recently, the Premier of China’s State Council came to Belarus on an official visit, and new agreements were signed dealing with exports of services and economic co-operation in general. All this will give an impetus to our liaisons. We, the parliamentarians, will do everything to ensure that the agreements reached between the heads of our states are implemented and realised effectively,” Ms. Kochanova added.
