Kochanova: production of domestic vaccines needs to launched in Belarus
Developing the pharmaceutical industry, Belarus should start producing domestic vaccines against influenza, measles and other diseases – as stated by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic, the authorised representative of the President in Minsk, Natalya Kochanova, during her meeting with the Cardiology Scientific-Practical Centre staff
“Despite the sanctions pressure, Belarus is interesting to many countries at present,” Ms. Kochanova stressed. “The Chinese side is demonstrating a very kind attitude and willingness to co-operate with our country, and I believe we need to step up our joint work. Our Great Stone Park has about 130 residents, high-tech facilities have been created. During my official visit to China, I saw a lot of things that can be implemented [in Belarus]. The Healthcare Minister was a member of our delegation, and we discussed the supply of vaccines against human papillomavirus, because the health of women and girls is very important to us.”
