Kochanova: patriotic education programme aimed not only at youth but society as a whole

As noted by Natalya Kochanova, the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, at today’s dialogue platform with members of the Youth Parliament and the Belarusian State Youth Union, Belarus' policy is very simple: it is peaceful, and it aims to ensure that Belarusians live in comfort and justice

“The President has often voiced the thesis that there should be justice in everything. When a person feels justice, then life is easier. That is why we pay so much attention to working with youth organisations, so that young people have an objective and adequate understanding of the processes taking place,” Ms. Kochanova said.

She drew attention to the fact that the adopted programme of patriotic education is aimed not only at young people, but at society as a whole. That is why laws have been adopted on the foundations of civil society, on the Belarusian People's Congress.

“We have people's power in the country, and I have always emphasised this. This is really so. There are no oligarchs in our country who would sit on money bags or run their own parallel business. This is unacceptable in Belarus. We have nothing of the kind in the country,” Ms. Kochanova stressed.
