Kochanova: Belarus aims to further develop co-operation with Uzbekistan

As part of the participation of the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Belarus in the regular session of the CIS IPA Council in St. Petersburg, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova met with Chairperson of Uzbekistan’s Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva

First of all, Natalya Kochanova congratulated Tanzila Narbayeva on her election as Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“The policy pursued in your country is primarily aimed at people,” said the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic. “We are confident that we will continue our fruitful co-operation for the benefit of our peoples and our countries. And we sincerely congratulate you. We wish good luck and success in work to our colleagues, our Uzbek friends.”

According to the Speaker of the Council of the Republic, Belarus is aimed at further co-operation.

“I want to assure you that we are sincerely looking forward to you, your colleagues, and your delegation at the third women’s forum. We have already decided that it will take place in the city of Vitebsk, in the Vitebsk Region. The 3rd Belarus-Uzbekistan Women’s Business Forum will be held in August 2025.”

Natalya Kochanova also noted that in 2025 we will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, “We will be pleased to see youngsters from Uzbekistan at the events of the Memory Train in 2025.”
