Kochanova arrived in Uzbekistan on official visit
The Belarusian delegation headed by Natalya Kochanova, the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, has arrived in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on an official visit, where she plans to participate in the 2nd Uzbek-Belarusian Women's Business Forum and held a number of bilateral meetings
Tanzila Narbayeva, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, met Natalya Kochanova at the airport.
Thematic sections, based on the main areas of co-operation between Belarus and Uzbekistan (mechanical engineering, light industry, agriculture, chemistry and woodworking, medical and educational services, tourism) have been scheduled for today, August 26th.
The 2nd Uzbek-Belarusian Women's Business Forum is taking place on August 26th-27th in Tashkent. Belarus has sent about 100 representatives of its business community and government agencies to participate in the event.
A plenary session is scheduled for tomorrow, August 27th, during which key agreements and memoranda of co-operation will be signed. The programme also includes exhibitions, B2B and G2B meetings between women entrepreneurs and representatives of government agencies of Uzbekistan and Belarus.
