Khrenin brought position of Belarus’ Defence Ministry to Western pseudo-analysts, loose talkers and extremists
Belarus has no enemies, and Minsk is not going to look back at anyone and please others in its policy – as stated by the Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, at today’s briefing: Modern Approaches to Ensuring Military Security of the State, Their Implementation in New Edition of Belarus’ Military Doctrine
Addressing the Belarusian and Russian journalists present at the briefing, Mr. Khrenin said, “Through you, dear friends, I want to bring the position of the Defence Ministry to those Western pseudo-analysts, loose talkers and extremists who have been voicing for almost a week various prognostic scenarios and assessments of the draft new Military Doctrine and relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, including with regard to the use of nuclear weapons.”
The Defence Minister stressed, “I declare openly once again: we have no enemies. In our policy, we are not going to look back at anyone and please someone. We have the interests of our peoples, we have mutual allied obligations. Only these factors will be at the head of our decisions and actions, both independently and within the framework of the Union State.”
