Khrenin assessed level of Belarus-Uzbekistan military co-operation

Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, has met with the First Deputy Minister of Defence – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov, the Belarusian Defence Ministry’s press service reports

“During the meeting, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin outlined the military-political situation in the East European region, noted the unity of approaches in assessing views on challenges and threats in the Central Asian region, and highly appreciated the level of military co-operation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the Belarusian defence department noted.
