Italian entrepreneur: US, European leaders far from ordinary people, Lukashenko is man of the people
Aleksandr Lukashenko has always wanted the independence of his country – an impossible solution for the domination of the United States – as stated by Italian entrepreneur Matteo Peggio, who heads the Italian Committee of Solidarity with Belarus, in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel
According to the Italian businessman, European elites ‘will never be able to forgive’ Aleksandr Lukashenko for being a man of the people.
“He understands what work is. The US and European leaders are very far from ordinary people. They feel a huge difference with him at this level. But so do the people of Europe who feel the difference with their leadership. Lukashenko has always wanted the independence of his country – an impossible solution for the domination of the United States,” Mr. Peggio said.
He added that Italians are interested in freely choosing real friends, such as Belarus.
“We are a colony of the US, which perceives us as a country where there are good cuisine and good music, but we are second-class people for them… It’s felt from the Brits, and especially from the Americans. We are not an independent country. I’m sure we are the generation that will see the decline of the American empire, and we’ll still have the opportunity to freely choose real friends like Belarus,” the Italian entrepreneur stressed.
