Investment project deadlines extended in Belarus

Deadlines for implementation of investment projects will be extended following a decision of the operational and situational headquarters at Belarus’ Council of Ministers – as informed by the Government’s Telegram channel

Based on investors’ applications, the regional executive committees and the Minsk city executive committee are recommended to make decisions to extend the terms and conditions of implementation of investment projects for up to three years, as well as to change the designated purpose of land plots and functional composition of objects during investment project implementation.

The decision will make it possible to settle problems related to the supply of components, equipment and building materials, also giving more freedom to business entities in manoeuvring resources, and changing the terms of implementation and the purpose of investment projects.
