India announced plans to build its first defence enterprise abroad

Indian industrial conglomerate Tata Group will build a large military production plant in Morocco, TASS reports

It is reported that the plant will be the first defence enterprise built by India abroad.

The Casablanca facility, which is planned to be built by Tata Group-owned Tata Advanced Systems LTD, will produce armoured vehicles for the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces. In the long term, it will supply its products to other African countries.
