In 2024, MAZ became one of leaders in Russian garbage truck market
Over the first seven months of this year, the MAZ chassis occupy a leading position in the Russian market in the segment of garbage trucks, accounting for 46 percent, sb.by reports with reference to the company’s press service
This information was announced during the 25th International Exhibition for Municipal, Industrial, Construction, Agricultural Waste Management, Recycling and Ecology: Waste Tech 2024. The Minsk Automobile Works (MAZ) – together with MAZ-RUS LLC – first presented its MAZ-590625-030 container garbage truck at the event.
“The exposition has been visited by a delegation of the Russian Environmental Operator, whose representatives highly appreciated the work done by the Belarusian factory aimed at strengthening the degree of localisation of domestic components, which stands at 95 percent for this model,” the press service informed.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the parties discussed the prospects for co-operation and the issue of launching a garbage truck based on a serial MAZ chassis with a controlled rear axle.
