In 2023, Industry Ministry enterprises increased production by 12.6%

Last year, the growth rate of industrial production at the Industry Ministry enterprises amounted to 112.6 percent in comparable prices – as reported by the Belarusian ministry

“It should be noted that last year the industry achieved advanced dynamics. For comparison: in late 2022, the growth rate of production volume at the enterprises of the Industry Ministry was 108 percent in comparable prices. Thus, production growth in 2023 exceeded the same figure for 2022 by 4.6 percentage points,” the industrial department added.

In 2023, industry enterprises operated as usual and had monthly positive dynamics in the performance indicators of the Industry Ministry.

“The growth rate of exports of goods from the Industry Ministry organisations over the past year is expected to be 107.8 percent,” the ministry reported. “The ratio of finished product inventories to average monthly production volume remained at a minimum level and stood at to 76.8 percent.”

The Industry Ministry noted that the profitability of sales in industry at the end of last year is expected to exceed 8 percent; in general, profitable activity of the industry is ensured.
