Hungary named Biden persona non grata at conservative conference
The Hungarian Centre for Fundamental Rights, which will host the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Budapest in April, declared US President Joe Biden ‘persona non grata’, joking that those who might get lost on stage are not allowed to attend the event, RIA Novosti reports
“The main requirement for CPAC guests in Hungary is not to get lost on stage. Joe [Biden] was not ready to meet the minimum conditions,” the organisers wrote on their Facebook account, posting a photo of the American leader with the caption ‘persona non grata’.
The reservations and behaviour of the current US President have repeatedly raised doubts about the politician's ability to do his job, so he often becomes a laughing stock. Biden sometimes confuses the names or positions of those present. There were cases when he resorted to the help of others in search of an exit from the stage. Also, the US President repeatedly stumbled on the stairs and aircraft ramps, fell off his bike, and stretched out his hand to the void for a handshake.
