Guardian: American corporations hope for profit growth amid conflict in Middle East

American corporations are hoping for a sharp increase in profits amid the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, RIA Novosti reports with reference to The Guardian’s columnist, Eli Clifton

The publication reads, “Morgan Stanley and TD Bank [American financial conglomerates] hope for aerospace and weapons boon after a 7 percent value increase from start of Israel-Hamas conflict.”

It is emphasised that the US analysts have taken note of the aggravation of the conflict, which can bring considerable profit.

The columnist contacted Morgan Stanley and TD Bank for comment, but they did not respond.

"It is the callousness to casually discuss the financial benefits of far-off armed conflict," Mr. Clifton believes.
