Great Stone new resident to produce components for unmanned vehicles
A new resident was registered with the Great Stone Industrial Park: Belarus-based Scientific-Practical Centre of Metalworking JSC – initiated by the Unmanned Helicopters design bureau
The company intends to implement a range of R&D programmes to introduce new technologies and advanced design methods in the field of unmanned aircraft systems. The new resident will also design internal combustion engines and produce components for unmanned vehicles – thus ensuring the principles of import substitution, competitiveness and economic efficiency.
The Chinese-Belarusian Great Stone Industrial Park – an economic zone with a special legal regime – is located 25km from Minsk. Among its priority areas are mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, new materials, logistics, e-commerce, big data storage and processing.
