German MEPs called for sending long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine

Germany should send long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine – as noted by the Head of the Bundestag Committee on European Affairs, deputy of the Green Party Anton Hofreiter, and the Chairman of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee, member of the Christian Democratic Union Norbert Rottgen, TASS reports

According to the politicians, Germany has already done a lot for Ukraine in the field of air defence, but ‘more needs to be provided’. It is especially important, according to them, to deliver the Taurus quickly.

In addition, according to German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, it is important not to hesitate and ensure this defence supply.
