Gaidukevich: lockdowns in Europe aim not to fight the pandemic, but to control people
During his talk with Alfa Radio, Oleg Gaidukevich, deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, noted that the introduction of lockdowns in European countries is not a way to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, but a tool for managing people
The parliamentarian drew attention to how the opposition’s ratings are growing in European countries now.
“Marine Le Pen [the leader of the National Rally Party in the French parliament] said that there is no alternative to peace with Russia [for Ukraine], it is necessary to sit down and negotiate. Her second statement was that the sanctions against Russia did not lead to the weakening of the Russian Federation, but to the weakening of Europe,” he said.
The deputy believes that introduction of lockdowns in Europe has nothing to do with the fight against the coronavirus.
“This is a way of managing and controlling people. This is a way to bring people to their knees, to deprive them of their democratic rights and freedoms. We understood all this and now we are convinced. When the special military operation began, everyone forgot about the coronavirus. Restrictions were lifted, but did the virus disappear?” he asked.
Mr. Gaidukevich noted that Belarus did not introduce lockdowns, our country managed to withstand the difficult pandemic time.
“I believe in our tactics more; medicine has chosen the right path. At the same time, the situation with mortality rate in our country is not higher than in any European country. Moreover, people were forced to get vaccinated there under the threat of fines. However, this method cannot ensure complete vaccination; rather, the number of fake certificates will increase,” the expert is sure.
