Funding for state programmes increased

The Government has increased funding for state programmes and events in 2021 – as envisaged by Resolution No. 609 of the Council of Ministers as of October 26^th, the National Legal Internet Portal informs

In line with the document, financing of measures aimed at acquisition of property for its further leasing has been increased by Br30m (approx. $12m), as part of the decree On Financing Purchasing of Modern Machinery and Equipment. The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus will accordingly allocate Br730m (over $290m) for these purposes.

Consequently, the total amount of the bank's financing of state programmes and events for 2021 has been increased to Br1,273bn (or $509.2m).
