Fully Belarus-made spacecraft can be launched in 2025

Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov spoke about this on the eve of the Belarusian Science Day

According to him, work is now underway on a new spacecraft jointly with Russia with the world’s best resolution of 0.35m. At the same time, a new fully Belarus-made spacecraft is being created. By the way, the Belarusian spacecraft can even be made earlier. The Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus stressed that it boasts 100 percent Belarusian equipment: filming equipment and electronics.

“If we launch a joint spacecraft with Russia, I believe, in 2028, then the Belarusian one can be launched in 2025. We are working in this direction.”
