FSB Chief: NATO dragging Moldova into military confrontation with Russia, Belarus

The North Atlantic Alliance is trying to involve Moldova in a military confrontation with Russia and Belarus – as stated by the Director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bortnikov, speaking at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services, TASS reports

"We see how the tools of external management work on the example of Moldova. The Moldovan authorities have actually lost their political independence. Moreover, Chisinau is now faced with the question of abandoning national identity and statehood in general," the FSB Chief said.

According to Mr. Bortnikov, NATO is literally dragging Moldova into a military confrontation with Russia and Belarus.
