Former US intel officer suggested NATO would collapse in less than decade

Former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that NATO is facing an inevitable split in the next decade, RIA Novosti reports

Scott Ritter stated that ‘NATO will not survive ten years’. According to him, when the conflict in Ukraine ends with the defeat of the alliance, there will be a deep split in NATO itself, as well as the countries’ renunciation of this union.

Ritter added that the disappointed expectations of NATO member states will come to the surface, and there will be a decisive gap between East and West.

According to the former military man, the West has finally turned into a society of ‘self-denial’, which will cause the inevitable collapse of NATO.
