Former MEP said Ukraine turning into EU and US colony
Irish politician and former MEP (2019-2024) Mick Wallace wrote on his X account that Ukraine is turning into a colony of the United States and the European Union, TASS reports
“Ukraine is being colonised by the EU and the US. Western corporations are stealing their land and couldn’t care less about the working class Ukrainians dying for a US-NATO proxy war that offers only destruction to Ukraine,” Mick Wallace said.
Earlier the Irish politician – speaking on YouTube channel hosted by Alexander Mercouris, the editor-in-chief of The Duran podcast – noted that Western loans are becoming a trap for Kiev, which will be unable to repay them.
“So, in fact, colonisation is currently underway,” the politician said, recalling that in 2020 Kiev changed the law, lifting the ban on the sale of farmland in order to receive a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
