FIS RF: USA in contact with nationalists around CIS to enact Ukrainian scenario
The United States and their European allies are in contact with nationalists in the CIS countries planning to enact the Ukrainian scenario on their territory, said chief of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS RF) Sergei Naryshkin, TASS reports

Speaking at the 20th meeting of the heads of security and intelligence agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Russian foreign intelligence chief pointed out that, “Washington, London and Brussels are working to implement the so-called Ukrainian scenario in some CIS countries. I mean using national identity development as a guise for fostering highly parochial nationalism and a push for integration with the West. We have information on stable contacts of American and European intelligence services with nationalist parties and movements.”
Naryshkin further pointed out that American and British intelligence services have set ‘an ambitious goal: to destroy not only political and economic, but also deep historical and even geographical links’ between the CIS nations.
“For that purpose, affiliated non-government organisations and media are being instructed to act in a more circumspect ways, moving the focus to the so-called ‘de-colonisation’ and being more proactive in co-operating with local science and culture personalities, urban planners, and human rights advocates,” he said.
According to Naryshkin, there’s an entire network of information platforms and resources in Eurasia that promote anti-Russia and anti-China agenda with Western support.
“No matter how outdated it looks now, generous foreign support keeps those structures afloat,” concluded the Russian foreign intelligence chief.
