First power unit of Belarusian NPP connected to power grid

On November 9^th, the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was connected to the grid after completion of scheduled routine maintenance and additional tests – as informed by the Belarusian Energy Ministry’s Telegram channel

"A gradual power ascension is now in full swing, and it now makes 400MW," the Energy Ministry said in a statement.

In the near future, the operation of the first power unit of the Belarusian NPP will be carried out at different power levels – in line with the test programme.
