First Lady of Zimbabwe: we greatly appreciate support provided by Belarus to our country
The Republic of Zimbabwe and its people greatly appreciate the support that Belarus provides to the country – as noted by the First Lady of Zimbabwe, Auxillia Mnangagwa, during today’s meeting with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko
The distinguished foreign guest first of all thanked the Belarusian leader for inviting her and the Zimbabwean delegation to visit Belarus and stressed that she was very pleased to be here, “We appreciate the hospitality that is provided to us on this land.”
Auxillia Mnangagwa said that she is in Belarus with a delegation of women who are ready to hold meetings and discuss co-operation with the Belarusian Women’s Union.
The First Lady of Zimbabwe also thanked the Belarusian leader for supporting the work of the President and the Government of Zimbabwe, “Our country is also under sanctions, which is why we especially appreciate the support that you provide to us. Mr. President, we have received a mobile hospital, which is of great importance to us, especially under the conditions of sanctions pressure. This job is very important. The people of Zimbabwe are immensely grateful to you for this support, because after receiving this equipment, we have already noticed changes in the health of our population, especially women.”
