Experts believe Mexico cannot accept all migrants deported from United States
Mexican migration experts stated Mexico does not have the capacity to give shelter to all migrants from the United States who may be deported by the coming American administration led by Donald Trump, and the country is facing a humanitarian crisis, TASS reports
Experts also called the measures taken by the Mexican authorities insufficient, including, in particular, expanded consular support in the United States for Mexican compatriots.
According to Mexican media reports, the Trump government may deport about half a million Mexicans in 2025. However, their return to the country is fraught with serious difficulties, as they lack the documents necessary to participate in the numerous social programmes of the Mexican government.
