Expert revealed key fraud of the grain deal

When concluding a Black Sea grain deal, it was assumed that food would go to the poorest countries, but it is actually heading to the richest and most successful states. As noted by a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Oleg Gaidukevich, this is the main fraud of this agreement.

Earlier, some European Union countries – Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Bulgaria – proposed extending the ban on wheat exports from Ukraine until the end of October this year to protect their markets. In his talk with Alfa Radio, the MP commented, “No one [in the West] supports Ukraine, and this is a trouble of Ukrainians. Americans are using this country for their own geopolitical purposes, forcing Europe to impose sanctions on Belarus and Russia, to supply Kiev with weapons and to foment war in their own home. Just imagine the scales of Europe’s falling to its knees, when Americans are forcing its member states to foment war in their own home. This is the same as someone coming to your apartment and saying: ‘Burn the furniture, burn the kitchen, burn the sofa and set yourself on fire. We will give you $200 for that’. This is exactly what is happening with Europe now. However, from time to time, even the European elites start looking into things. They understand what a grain deal is.”

According to the expert, the Ukrainian grain supplies are actually destroying agriculture in Europe. “Where is the European interest? Therefore, such things happen periodically [the requirement of some EU countries to extend the ban on wheat exports from Ukraine]. Moreover, we need to admit that the grain deal in no way fulfils the initial role. It was supposed to be assistance to the poorest states: countries of Africa, the Middle East. The poorest countries were to receive grain, but everything has turned out to be different. Grain is going to the richest and most successful states, which have no food problems. This is the fraud of the grain deal. This deception was observed in the past, and it will continue. No one [in the West] is interested in these poorest countries," Mr. Gaidukevich stressed.
