Expert: Poland hopes to win in any outcome of Ukraine conflict
Poland helps Ukraine in a special operation only for its own benefit – as noted by Gevorg Mirzayan, an Associate Professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, in his talk with 1tv.ru
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Warsaw said that there would be no borders between Ukraine and Poland in the future.
“The Poles expect that they will win in any outcome of the Ukrainian conflict, except for a nuclear war, where everyone loses. If Ukraine remains approximately within its current borders, Poland will receive huge political and economic dividends. If Ukraine collapses, the Poles plan to take over the western territories under the pretext that they will come to protect them. Formally, they will protect this territory, in fact they will manage it,” said Gevorg Mirzayan.
According to him, Warsaw hopes to benefit even if Russia wins a complete victory and Ukraine ceases to exist as a state.
“In this case, Poland, in principle, will become an Eastern European outpost of NATO. Huge amounts of money will be invested in it and weapons will be transferred, automatically making it one of the leading EU countries,” the speaker explained.
