Expert on US strategy: it aims to set fire to Eurasia and thereby strengthen its own economy

In his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel, political expert Piotr Petrovsky explained why one should not hope that the victory of Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in the US presidential election will change anything in American foreign policy

Mr. Petrovsky believes that the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and Joe Biden's exit from the election race should be viewed as events of the same logical chain guided by the deep state.

“Everyone understands perfectly well that, over the past four years, Biden has been announcing much but making no personal decisions: it was the deep state that decided everything, and it was important for it to remove these two elders who did not allow to update the policy," the expert shared his opinion.

At the same time, Mr. Petrovsky stressed that both Trump and Harris, as well as their parties, will try to strengthen American hegemony by different means, “Therefore, we should not hope for the victory of either of them. Let me remind you that it was Trump who actually killed Iran’s General Soleimani. In addition, he imposed sanctions against China and created tension on the Korean Peninsula. Their strategy is very clear: to set fire to the whole of Eurasia so that it burns, and the US strengthens its own economy and dominates due to this," the expert added.
