Deputy: nothing more important than security of the state
The Belarusian leader is personally interested in and implements tasks that would contribute to peace both in Belarus and in the region as a whole – as noted by Ruslan Kosygin, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, in his talk with the STV TV channel, commenting on the decisions taken during the meeting with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on ensuring the country’s military security in the southern operational area, held on July 13th
“There’s nothing more important than the defence and security of our state. The main thing for today is peace. Peace is what should be and what will contribute to the creative process across all directions. And what happened on July 13th – within the framework of the meeting, in fact, a meeting of the Security Council on a limited scale – is such an important message and an important step. It is crucial as part of the stabilisation of the situation — and once again underscores how much the Head of our State is personally interested in and implements tasks that would contribute to peace both in our country and in the region as a whole,” the parliamentarian noted.
