Expert: most Americans are for multipolarity, 98% are confident their country going in wrong direction

Most Americans are in favour of multipolarity, it is enough to conduct appropriate research to make certain – as stated by Edward Lozansky, the President of the American University in Moscow, during the 15th Verona Eurasian Economic Forum, held in Baku on October 27th-28th

“Here I represent those Americans who would gladly vote for multipolarity,” the expert emphasised. “This is the American elite that is talking about unipolarity. If we take into account the current state of the United States, the state of political life, we will see that everything is far from joyful. How is it possible to live in conditions where half of the citizens are sure that their votes have been stolen?”

Edward Lozansky recalled that the American elite says that the United States is a hegemon, and he suggested looking at the results of such policy, “We say that we are, as it were, the guards of the world, sometimes they say that the rest of the world is a jungle. But then the European Union gets here too! American politicians managed to offend all EU states!”

The President of the American University in Moscow recalled a well-known situation when Victoria Nuland used a derogative word about the European Union, “This makes me assume that something does not work in America…”

During his speech, Edward Lozansky cited interesting research data, which he called reliable, “Many people in America say that much of what is being done is wrong. 98 percent of Americans are sure that the country is moving in the wrong direction. They believe Congress is doing poorly – I’m quoting reliable research. How can you consider yourself a leader if your own citizens say such things? Now 90 percent of citizens do not participate in decision-making, and only 10 percent of US citizens (certain politicians and various government structures) make real decisions.”
