Expert comments on Poland’s migration policy and mockery of refugees
Belarusian border guards have recently found another refugee on the border with Lithuania. The man was in need of medical assistance, but that situation was actually quite traditional: the refugee was beaten by the Lithuanian military who also threatened him with weapons, used a stun gun and threw out of the EU territory. A deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Sergei Klishevich, commented on the European migration policy and the European Commission proposal to ask for a serious financial contribution for each rejected migrant.
“At least once a month – if not weekly – we read the news that refugees die in Poland. This is happening since European politicians do not care about these people. Poles, having learnt from Americans, performed the US tasks in Iraq, Libya and other countries, and they are also performing them in Ukraine at present In fact, they are engaged into destruction of the countries, people from which eventually come to them and ask for help,” the MP noted in his talk with Alfa Radio.
Mr. Klishevich believes, this once again demonstrates the face of European ‘democracy’, shows that states are ready to ruin other peoples if it is beneficial to them, if it is in their interests. The myth of European tolerance, good neighbourliness, and peacefulness is being destroyed.
According to Mr. Klishevich, there is such an interest. The Polish budget, anyway, is limited.
“The Polish political leadership’s room for manoeuvre is decreasing with every Dollar, Euro and Zloty that they have to spend on refugees. The authorities are becoming much more dependent on the United States. Actually, the latter also has its own limit, and it rather needs money for the war. Meanwhile, it has to spend funds on people who they have long forgotten about the war with, although they participated in it directly in the past,” the MP noted. “In turn, Polish leaders want to show their society that they allegedly protect their people from migrants who are evil, who contribute to the criminogenic situation, who take away funds from local residents, thus affecting the financial well-being of the population, that they are ready not just to fight, but also to kill. The worst of all is that society is getting used to the fact that people are dying on the border. This is wildness!”
