Expert: Belarus, Azerbaijan will become BRICS members and successfully co-operate for its benefit

BRICS members are building a new, fairer architecture of the world, so countries are striving to join this organisation – as stated by political expert Vadim Borovik in his talk with Alfa Radio, commenting on the news that Azerbaijan has officially applied to join BRICS

As underlined by the expert, BRICS is gaining weight in the modern world. “Countries with serious economic and human potential are uniting, and their main idea is to build a more just world. BRICS members do not consider the current global dominance of the United States to be correct, and they believe Americans use other countries and regions for their own selfish interests. This truth is inspiring them to unite. There are opinions that BRICS is an alternative to NATO, the Anglo-Saxon union. Overall, this is a very healthy trend,” he explained.

Azerbaijan, which is an ally and friend of Belarus, has demonstrated its desire to join the BRICS members recently, and Mr. Borovik noted in this regard, “I am sure that our countries will become BRICS members and we will successfully co-operate for the benefit of this organisation.”
