Expert: any aggression against Belarus is the one against Russia

It is completely in vain for Western propagandists to convince their audience that Belarus will not be able to repel NATO aggression – as stated by Aleksei Avdonin, an expert at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research, in his talk with Alfa Radio

The expert noted that propagandists in the West – while comparing the Armed Forces of Belarus, Poland, the Baltic States and NATO – develop the idea that Belarus allegedly does not have enough forces and means to repel NATO aggression. At the same time, for some reason, they all forget about the joint statements of the Belarusian and Russian leaders.

“Joint statements were made by the presidents of Russia and Belarus that the republic is an integral part of the security system of the Russian Federation, the Union State. This means that any aggression against Belarus is definitely aggression against the Russian Federation,” Mr. Avdonin said.

The expert added that the actions of the collective West are extremely provocative, “If we compare the military potential of the Russian Federation and NATO, if we also take into account that tactical nuclear weapons are located on our territories, then it immediately becomes clear that all their actions are provocative and are aimed more at exerting political pressure on Minsk and Moscow than at a military conflict.”
