Estonia demands to close all Russian-language websites of its government agencies
The Estonian parliamentary opposition demanded to close Russian-language websites of the country’s government agencies, TASS reports
According to the portal of Estonia’s public broadcaster ERR, the faction in the Riigikogu (parliament) of the opposition Conservative People's Party demanded to close Russian-language versions of the state structures’ websites. The latter include the government, various ministries and their subordinate institutions. This step will require parliamentary approval.
It is reported that all eleven ministries and more than half of the subordinate institutions have Russian-language websites in Estonia at the moment.
