Erdogan: Turkiye will not be party to Ukrainian conflict

Turkiye has no plans to take sides in the conflict in Ukraine – as stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a comment to Newsweek magazine, TASS reports

Commenting on the discussion within NATO about whether instructors and military personnel of the alliance can go to Ukraine, the Turkish leader said, “We will not be a party to this war.”

As noted by the magazine, Recep Erdogan was critical of the ‘allied strategy’ that envisages further military assistance by NATO to the Kiev regime.
