Egyptian President said he rejects any form of eviction of Palestinians from their territory
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has stated that he is categorically against any form of forced displacement of Palestinians, TASS reports
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his Palestinian counterpart, Mahmoud Abbas, during recent talks in Cairo confirmed their categorical rejection of any form of eviction of Palestinians from their territory. The Egyptian leader indicated that his country is currently making significant efforts and maintaining all necessary contacts with various parties for a ceasefire in Gaza and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities there.
In addition, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi noted that the only guarantee of security and stability in the Middle East is the creation of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
