EEC Minister impressed by Belarusian NPP

The EEC Minister on charge of Energy and Infrastructure, Arzybek Kozhoshev, visited the Belarusian nuclear power plant, the Belarusian Energy Ministry’s Telegram channel reports

Mr. Kozhoshev was informed on how the plant’s construction is progressing. He also visited technological facilities and the training centre. As he admitted, everything impressed him greatly.

“You have formed a clear system in the field of nuclear energy – including personnel training and ensuring of the plant’s safety,” Mr. Kozhoshev said, adding that the Belarusian nuclear facility should be viewed not only as a significant contribution to strengthening Belarus’ energy security. He believes the plant has become a good impetus for development of the country's economy as a whole.

“We will use the Belarusian experience within the EAEU, since you have much to learn from,” Mr. Kozhoshev stated.
