Economic stability in the context of COVID-19
The Eurasian Economic Commission is working on proposals to ensure economic stability in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic – as announced by the Assistant to the Chairman of the EEC Board, Iya Malkina
“In Q1 2022, the Commission plans to submit proposals to the heads of government on updating the measures taken within the framework of the EAEU to ensure economic stability under the Covid-19 conditions – taking into account the needs for further support of the EAEU economies,” the official said.
Ms. Malkina also informed that proposals are being prepared to enhance industrial co-operation within the EAEU, develop and implement the mechanisms of its financing, strengthen the digital potential and presence of member states in regional and global value generation chains.
