Diplomat: Western politicians don’t make any strategic decisions in their countries
The West has long established a two-circuit political model of governance in different countries, where politicians do not make any strategic decisions – as noted by diplomat and political scientist Andrei Savinykh in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel
“A two-circuit governance model has been created in Western countries for a long time. The outer contour is the politicians we see on TV: Scholz, Macron, Harris who don’t make any strategic decisions in their countries. They only put on a show in which they convince their voters that they are supposedly fighting for their rights and interests. In fact, these politicians receive their commands from the global corporate sector, the supranational corporate sector of the owners of multinational corporations, the financial oligarchy. They give them the necessary agenda,” Mr. Savinykh explained.
According to him, European citizens have only now begun to realise that no one is protecting their interests. That is why, the political scientist explained, Marine Le Pen (the leader of the French far-right National Rally party), Sahra Wagenknecht and the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party have become so popular now.
