Details on beating of five refugees by Polish security forces from Belarus’ Investigative Committee
It became known on June 6th that Belarusian border guards had found five beaten migrants from Iran and Afghanistan in the Kamenets District near the Polish border, sb.by reports with reference to the Investigative Committee’s press service

As noted by the source, the Belarusian border guards found the beaten and exhausted migrants who were pledging for help.
"The foreigners told the investigators that they had been heading through Poland to Germany. Armed Poles detained them at the border, taking away their personal belongings and clothes. They continued to beat them with feet and batons, poured tear gas over their faces and even forcibly opened their mouths to spray pepper in. That was continuing for three days,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
Medical assistance was rendered to the victims, and all criminal actions of the Polish security forces have been documented. As reported by the department, a legal assessment will be given to these atrocities.
