Deputy PM: Belavia aircraft fleet maximally used across all open directions

The aircraft fleet of Belavia Airlines is currently maximally used across all open directions – as noted today by Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak, making a report at a joint session of the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly

“Work continues on the development of the eastern and southern flight directions for regular air passenger transportation. Regular flights are operated to 22 airports in 10 countries. The work on loading the Minsk National Airport is focused on attracting airlines, primarily Russian, as well as the development of new directions for passenger and cargo transportation. Flights on a regular basis are operated by ten foreign carriers,” the Deputy PM said.

Anatoly Sivak also said that in the field of air transport, an intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the collection of air navigation and airport fees and tariffs is approaching entry into force. Its implementation will ensure equal tariff conditions for the provision of airport and air navigation services to aircraft operators of both states.
