Deputy PM: 60 dairy farms to be built in Belarus next year
In 2024, 60 dairy facilities will be constructed in Belarus – as stated by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shuleiko after the report to the President
The Deputy PM stressed that today the quality of Belarusian agricultural products is being transformed into a growth of export indicators, “Our country is self-sufficient in food. We export the lion’s share of our products (60-70 percent in certain areas). This year, we plan to earn $8.5bn from food exports. What will our exports be based on next year? Strategy is one of the issues that has been tackled at the meeting with the Head of State. We have planned the construction of 60 dairy farms for next year.”
According to Mr. Shuleiko, this is a significant factor in increasing production indicators, as well as one of the elements of optimising labour resources in rural areas.
