Deputy Head of President Administration: Russian colleagues repeatedly showing increasing interest in Belarusian agenda
Interest in the Belarusian agenda and in the activities of the President of Belarus, in objective and impartial coverage of events in our country is increasing manifold in Russia – as noted by Vladimir Pertsov, the Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration, after a report to Aleksandr Lukashenko on topical issues of the country’s information policy
“We are witnessing a multiplying interest among our Russian colleagues in the Belarusian agenda, in the activities of the Head of State, which is reflected in a positive way. We’re really in the same boat right now. Thank God, many political circles, the circles of high media management in Russia have come to understand that Belarus is an ally state, and the President of Belarus is the only ally who, during this difficult period, did not become a situational partner, did not speculate on the Union State issues. During this difficult period, we really stand back to back and fully feel all those sanctions and restrictions imposed by Western states. In this regard, we see completely different sentiments from the heads of the largest state and public Russian organisations. We see this positive turnaround and welcome the objective coverage of events in our country. For our part, we will provide all possible assistance in the work of Russian journalists in the election campaign on the territory of our country, since they have stated they will impartially and objectively cover everything that is happening in Belarus,” the Deputy Head of the President Administration underlined.
