Defence Ministry on the course of joint tactical flight exercises of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia
As part of the joint tactical flight exercises of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia, aviation units continue to perform their intended tasks from all airfields of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Armed Forces of Belarus – as reported by the Belarusian Defence Ministry in its Telegram channel
Flight crew perform combat use at the Ruzhany training ground, during which aviation suppresses air defence, inflicts defeat on command posts, as well as accumulation of equipment and manpower of a mock enemy. At the same time, fighter air cover is provided for strike groups of attack and bomber aircraft.
From the Machulishchi airfield, the A-50 airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft performs the tasks of conducting aerial reconnaissance and controlling the crew of multi-role fighters.
