Defence Ministry: Belarus, Iran interested in developing military co-operation

Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Forces of Belarus, has paid a working visit to Tehran, sb.by reports with reference to the Defence Ministry

The head of the Belarusian military delegation held meetings with the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, and the Commander of the Iranian Air Force, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi. The parties discussed issues of bilateral military co-operation and outlined ways to further develop it.

The Belarusian delegation also visited military infrastructure facilities and the University of Aeronautical Engineering of Iran’s Air Force.
