Defence Ministry: Belarus, Iran discuss liaisons in military science and education
An Iranian delegation led by the country’s Deputy Defence Minister has arrived in Belarus as part of the development of bilateral contacts, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Defence Ministry’s press service
“As part of the development of contacts between the Republic of Belarus and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the military sphere, an Iranian delegation – headed by Dr. Mehdi Jafari, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics and Rector of the Malek Ashtar University of Technology – is currently working in the republic,” the Belarusian defence department noted.
The Iranian delegation visited the Research Institute of the Armed Forces and the Military Academy of Belarus, meeting with the leadership of the institutions and familiarising with the educational facilities.
The parties expressed interest in developing co-operation in the field of military science and education.
