Defence Ministry: at night, presumably, drones violated Belarus’ state border, they were destroyed

On September 5th, a violation of the state border of the Republic of Belarus in the airspace was recorded, sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the Defence Ministry

The Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, Colonel Sergei Frolov, made a statement, “Tonight, on September 5th, a violation of the state border of the Republic of Belarus in the airspace was recorded, presumably by unmanned aerial vehicles.”

It is reported that a decision was made to destroy them, and that was carried out thanks to the timely actions of the air defence forces on duty.

Mr. Frolov added that a check is currently being carried out on this fact.
