Defence ministers of Belarus, China discuss bilateral military interaction
Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin held a bilateral meeting with China’s Defence Minister, Admiral Dong Jun on the sidelines of the meeting of the defence ministers of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation member states, sb.by report with reference to the Belarusian Defence Ministry’s press service
The event highlighted the high level of Belarusian-Chinese bilateral relations, which have the status of an all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership. The parties shared views on the state and prospects for the development of military co-operation, and outlined ways to advance interaction for the medium and long term.
Following the meeting, the defence ministers of Belarus and China noted the significant potential for co-operation between the two states in the military area.
